DESCRIPTION
Low Sulfur Calcined Petroleum Coke is a high quality carbon material produced from high temperature treatment of petroleum coke. It is used in a variety of applications including the production of aluminum, steel and titanium dioxide. The low sulfur content of this product makes it desirable for use in the manufacturing of anodes for the aluminum industry, as it reduces the emissions of sulfur dioxide during the process. The calcination process removes volatile matter, moisture and other impurities, resulting in a pure carbon product with a high carbon content suitable for many applications.
