DESCRIPTION
Carburizer: A substance, usually in the form of powder or granules, used to increase the carbon content of molten metal in foundry and steelmaking processes.
CPC: Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is a high purity carbon material produced by heating green petroleum coke to drive off moisture, volatile matter, and impurities and to increase its electrical conductivity.
GPC: Graphitized petroleum coke (GPC) is a high purity carbon material produced by heating CPC above 2500°C in a special type of furnace called an electric resistance furnace. The process removes all impurities from CPC and transforms it into a crystalline form of graphite.
