Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is a high-purity carbon material produced by heating green petroleum coke to a high temperature of 1200-1350°C in a rotary kiln. This process removes moisture, volatile organic compounds, and other impurities from the green coke, leaving a high-quality, dense, and pure carbon material. CPC is commonly used as a carbon additive in the production of aluminum, steel, titanium dioxide, and other industrial materials. It is also used as a fuel in the cement and power generation industries. CPC has a high carbon content, low ash content, and low sulfur content, making it a preferred material for use in these applications.
