DESCRIPTION
CPC coke, or Calcined Petroleum Coke, is a high-purity carbon material produced by heating green petroleum coke to a high temperature in a rotary kiln. The process removes any remaining volatile matter from the coke, resulting in a highly carbonaceous material with a high fixed carbon content.
CPC coke is used in a wide range of applications, including in the production of aluminum, steel, and titanium dioxide. In the aluminum industry, CPC coke is used as a carbon additive in the production of anodes for the aluminum smelting process. It is also used as a fuel for power generation and in the production of graphite electrodes for the steel and aluminum industries.
CPC coke has a low ash content, low sulfur content, and high carbon content, making it an ideal material for high-temperature applications where purity and consistency are important.
