DESCRIPTION
ZhenAn Silicon metal is produced by the carbothermic reduction-smelting process, in which silica is reduced by carbon in a submerged arc furnace at temperatures between 1300 and 2000°C under atmospheric pressure. After smelting, silicon metal will go through the stages of cooling, crushing, packaging, etc., and finally packaged and transported to the customer.
Silicon metal applications
1.Silicon metal for aluminium industry. Aluminum alloy ingot production, as additive of silicon content.
2.Dioxidizer in steelmaking as replacement of ferrosilicon.
3.As raw materials to produce poly-crystalline silicon.
