Metallurgical metal silicon 441 is mainly used as an alloying agent in the aluminum industry. It can improve the usability of aluminum, such as pourability, hardness and strength. Demand for aluminum has been growing steadily in recent years, and the demand for lighter and more economical materials has triggered an increase in the consumption of silicon metal 441 by aluminum manufacturers. Adding silicon metal 441 to aluminum alloys can make aluminum alloys stronger and lighter, so they are increasingly used in the automotive industry to replace heavier cast iron components. Automotive parts such as engine blocks and tire rims are some of the most common cast aluminum-silicon parts.
