Silicon metal, also be called industrial silicon, is a smelting product made by quartz and coke in electric heating furnace. The color of silicon metal is silver gray or dark gray with metallic luster. It can be mix up with other iron alloy as a low cost substitute deoxidizedr of ferrosilicon in steelmaking dexidization process.
