Typically, high heat resistance ferro tungsten contains a significant amount of tungsten, often around 70% or higher, with the remaining composition being iron.The high heat resistance of ferro tungsten makes it valuable in applications that involve exposure to extreme temperatures.
It can withstand temperatures of up to 3,422°C (6,191°F) before melting, making it suitable for use in high-temperature furnaces, aerospace components, electrical contacts, and other applications where elevated temperatures are encountered.
