DESCRIPTION
When High-Density Modifier ferrovanadium is incorporated into a material, such as tungsten alloys or concrete, vanadium contributes to increasing its overall density. Vanadium enhances the packing efficiency of the material’s microstructure, resulting in a higher mass per unit volume.
The addition of High-Density Modifier ferrovanadium allows for the production of high-density materials with improved mechanical properties, radiation absorption capability, and enhanced resistance to deformation. This alloy is particularly beneficial in applications where weight reduction is not a primary concern, such as aircraft ballast weights, radiation shielding components, and heavy-duty counterweights.
