DESCRIPTION
The presence of vanadium in Corrosion Resistance ferrovanadium imparts beneficial properties to stainless steel. Vanadium forms stable oxide layers on the surface of the steel, acting as a protective barrier against corrosive agents. This oxide layer provides a passive corrosion resistance mechanism, preventing the underlying steel from direct contact with oxygen, moisture, and other corrosive elements. The addition of Corrosion Resistance ferrovanadium to steel improves its ability to withstand rusting, pitting, and general corrosion, thus extending the lifespan of the steel components.
