Ferrotitanium is used for steel alloying or deoxidation. The technology is often used in the manufacture of critical parts and assemblies. Ferrotitanium is used in the manufacture of welding electrodes. In addition, the alloy (a small amount) serves as an intermediate structure in the manufacture of stainless steel, since the introduction of ferrotitanium of steel provides excellent resistance to corrosion.
