Ferro silicon is an atomized alloy, which is formed by combining iron and silicon with a silicon content range of 15% to 90%. Ferro silicon is from quartz, coke as raw materials by electric furnace. Si and oxygen is easily to be compound into SiO2, and Fe can be used directly into liquid steel, Ferrosilicon is used as a source of silicon to reduce metals from their oxides and to deoxidize steel and other ferro alloys.
