DESCRIPTION
Ferro silicon is a gray iron alloy composed of iron and silicon. According to the content of Si, Fe, Al, etc,there are different grades. The most widely used are 75% ferrosilicon and 72% ferro silicon. FeSi75 is the most popular deoxidizer in steelmaking. It is also used as an alloying element in the manufacture of special Silicon steels for electrical uses and is used to increase overall impact resistance steel.
