1. Different silicon content
The difference in Silicon content will affect its application in iron and steel smelting. Ferro Silicon 75 with higher silicon content will be more suitable for the production of high-silicon steel.
2. Prices vary
Due to the different Silicon content, the production cost of Ferro Silicon 75 is relatively high, so the price is somewhat higher than Ferro Silicon 72.
3. Different uses
Ferro Silicon 72 and Ferro Silicon 75 also serve slightly different purposes due to different silicon content. Ferro Silicon 72 is mainly used to produce general steel and cast iron, while Ferro Silicon 75 is mainly used to produce high-end steels such as high-silicon steel and stainless steel.
