Ferro Silicon is using coke, steel chips and quartz (or silica) as raw materials, after high temperature reduction of 1500-1800 degrees, silicon melts in molten iron to form ferro silicon alloy.Ferro silicon 75 is commonly used in the production of magnesium metal, and it takes about 1.2 tons of ferrosilicon 75 to produce 1 ton of magnesium.
