Ferro silicon is an atomized alloy, which is formed by combining iron and silicon with a silicon content range of 15% to 90%. Ferrosilicon 75 is often used in the high-temperature smelting process of metal magnesium in the Pidgeon process of magnesium smelting. The magnesium in CaO.MgO is replaced, and about 1.2 tons of ferrosilicon are consumed for each ton of metal magnesium produced. Magnesium metal production plays a big role.
