FeSi 75 and FeSi 72 are both ferrosilicon alloys, which are typically used as deoxidizers and alloying agents in the production of steel and other alloys.

The numbers 75 and 72 refer to the silicon content of the respective alloys, with FeSi 75 containing 75% silicon and FeSi 72 containing 72% silicon. The remaining composition of the alloys is typically iron, with small amounts of other elements such as aluminum, calcium, and carbon.

The higher silicon content in FeSi 75 makes it a more effective deoxidizer, as silicon reacts readily with oxygen to form silicon dioxide (SiO2), which can then be easily removed from the molten metal. FeSi 75 is also often used in the production of high-silicon alloys, such as electrical steel.

FeSi 72, on the other hand, is often used in the production of low-carbon and low-alloy steels. It can also be used as an inoculant, which helps to improve the castability of molten metal.
