Ferrosilicon is an atomized alloy,which is formed by combining iron and silicon with a silicon content range of 15% to 90%.Ferro silicon is a universal “heat blocker” used in the production of carbon and stainless steels.In ferroalloy production and chemical industry, often used as a reducing agent, the production of FeSi is based on natural silica as raw material ,using metallurgical coke as reducing agent and adding a certain amount of iron – bearing materials for smelting.
