DESCRIPTION
Ferrosilicon is an alloy of iron and silicon. Ferrosilicon is an iron silicon alloy made from coke, steel chips and quartz (orsilica) by electric furnace smelting. In the steel making field, Ferrosilicon is used as deoxidizer and alloying agent to precipit and diffuse deoxidation. Adding a certain amount silicon of fe-si to the steel can obviously improve the strength, hardness, elasticity and permeability of steel.
