DESCRIPTION
Ferro silicon is made of coke, scrap steel, and quartz (or silica) as raw materials. It is produced when smelted in an electric furnace to about 2000˚C. The ferro silicon can be crushed into pieces of variable size, to meet the customer’s demand. The most widely used are 75% ferrosilicon and 72% ferro silicon.
