Medium carbon ferromanganese (MC FeMn) refers to alloys mainly composed of manganese and iron, which are most frequently used deoxidizers and alloying materials in steel production. They are divided into low-carbon ferromanganese (carbon content below 0.5%) and medium-carbon ferromanganese (carbon content between 1.0%-2.0%).Electric furnace high carbon ferromanganese is mainly used as deoxidizer, desulfurizer and alloy additive in steelmaking. In addition, with the progress of medium and low carbon ferromanganese production technology, high carbon ferromanganese can also be used in the production of medium and low carbon ferromanganese.
