DESCRIPTION
Manganese Flakes are mainly known for its use in alloying with steel and for making additions to alloys that require Manganese. It can also be alloyed with other metals such as Aluminum, Antimony or Copper to form highly ferromagnetic materials.Added to improve mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of aluminium alloys 3000-series, especially those used in the production of beverage can sheet alloys. Mn also acts as a deoxidizer or desulphuriser in the production of Steel. It is also used in the production of flux mixtures for welding rods.
